Founded in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Northwest Powersports Repair is owned and operated by Mikael Spears.
Mikael got started as a mechanic at a young age, working on lawn mowers, leaf blowers, go-carts, motorized bikes and other small engine for his friends and neighbors.
As he grew up Mikael got into Hard Enduro Dirtbike Racing and in order to keep up with bike maintenance was forced to grow and expand his skill set and resourcefulness as a mechanic.
During this time Mikael chose to become a full time mechanic, and has worked in that capacity since 2017.
After successfully working on hundreds of pieces of equipment of all types Mikael noticed a need in the market for better repair service options for dirtbikes, and powersports equipment in general...
The dealerships and other options in town often charge a lot more, and take forever to get your equipment repaired.
He decided to start his own shop in order to fix this problem by offering higher quality service with faster turnaround times and no BS.
